month & page half complete ...

This has been a super-challenging month for me in any number of ways. This weekend I finally had time to sit down with this month's page and bring it into stronger be-ing. For the next week or so, I'll have enough time (I hope) to get it the rest of the way "there".

blogged here.

Very interesting textures; so much here is visually interesting. Thank you so much for sharing. I can appreciate what you said about the privacy aspect of journalling.

This page is becoming a visual treat. I, too, share your feelings about journaling being a private thing. However, I am finding that our beadwork and designs speak volumes about where we are in our lives . . .

This is a very thought provoking journey for you! I remember when Robin chatted about the journal aspect my reaction was much like yours. When I journal it is because I'm working something through. I destroy the journals in a few months time. It was a different way for me to look at expressing myself.

One of the things I've learned from a lot of living, is that most people do not see what is right there in front of them, and the reasons are many. They're too worried about how they themselves are being perceived or they are not looking or a hundred other 'reasons', but you have the right to expose yourself as much as you want or not. Your choice. Always!

I love the texture and colors to your piece-serenity is what comes to mind for me. Journaling is a very personal process, thanks for sharing your thoughts, Lillian :o)

Like you, I have put some very personal feelings into my pages so far. I have a feeling it will continue. For me, it seems like a good way to let go of negative energy. I really like what you have done.

Thanks so much for the encouragement both here and at my blog. I worked on my July page yesterday and will probably have some free time for more work today as well.
