Can one ever have too many beads? I am sure glad that I decided to ONLY use beads from my stash for these pages! I am limiting the palette of my August page ---and, yet when I went through my stash for beads in these colors--this is what I found.
Now, my stash was a added to considerably when I had the very good fortune of buying a large seedbead collection from a friend---(she had some great old seedbeads, which you can no longer buy)---but WHEW!!! re-assessing my stash, I now see I can never use all the beads I have in my lifetime. Hmmm...good thing I have daughter who likes to make jewelry (and who goes through my stash every time she visits;-)

I bet there are a LOT of us who have more beads than we can use in a lifetime. The good news is, we have a lovely palette from which to select our beads! Nice picture... I always love seeing what people have!
Lifetimes are pretty long, these days... Won't we just use all the beads we need to in our lifetimes? If there are any left over after that, I'm thinking I won't be too concerned about it.
You lucky duck!
What a great photograph!
Great picture! Like you, I'm trying to use as much from what I already have for my pages. Does that mean I will stop buying beads? NOT! My grandson says I can't possibly use everything I have. He's right. Do I care? Nope.
I have been buying my seedbeads lately by the half kilo since I can get them cheaper that way in the long run. I figure I've got a green light to buy like that since I have at least one granddaughter who is interested in art to pass them down to when I am no longer around to bead! I am just building up her inheritance - who knows how much beads will cost in the future!!
What a great inheritance, Freebird !
Since I started beading, my mum gave me the few beads she had kept from her projects. This really moved me. Gifts like that are just awesome.
JoTee, wonderful stash!!! You requested an address to send a comfort doll and I didn't have your addy, so here Chesterton,IN 46304. Thank you. Pat Winter
My husband would tell you that I have a life time supplies for every craft/art that I have ever done which is quite a few. Moving it all every 2-3 years is a real eyeopener even if we have movers to box everything up and lug it all. My husband doesn't complain if I have that one thing he needs however and uses my Dremel and heat gun more than I do I think.
Your collection looks great and I wish I had the will power to just work with what I have but do not regret what I have bought bead wise for this project since so far they have been just what I needed.
Can't wait to see where you are going with your beads. Angie
Too many beads. I'm still giggling over that comment. I won't say that I have bought anything new for the Bead Journal Project, but I haven't not bought new beads.
Great template of colours there....
You can never have too many beads :)
To answer your question Aurora:-
