My last page is complete!

Hello beady friends!

Well, talk about getting down to the wire! My last page, my November page, is finally finished and you can see it here. Even though I am 3 months late, I am feeling quite a sense of accomplishment today to be finally done with all of my pages.
To all of my fellow BJPers who are not done yet - have faith, it WILL happen. Keep on beading and, most of all, have fun!

2nd Quarter Update on "Fire"

Well, I've gotten a little more done on the 2nd quarter. Not sure if I'll be able to get it all done over the summer, but here's hoping! See progress on my blog here.

Back in Circulation

First I would like to say a big thank you to all of the people who sent their best wishes and prayers for us While Wayne was off in Iraq. After 6 weeks of visiting family over the holidays I got back to Maryland on January 2nd and Wayne got back from Iraq on the 5th. It is great to have him home.

It is really funny that the only thing in my life that isn't behind is my Bead Journal Project. Does that say something about my priorities???

I have finally updated my BJP blog and you can find my November, December and January pages on their now as well as a picture of the first 8 pages displayed.

I am working on February as well and will try to get a progress report on it up soon.

If you want to know what has been going on in my life besides this visit my AKP Blog and Artistic Kreations and Passions website which I have also updated.

Caught Up and Moving Forward

I have posted pictures of my October, December and January pages on my blog. It feels good to be caught up and to be even with the board again. I have started on my February page and plan to keep up on my work. ( didn't we all say that 8 months ago..... :>} ) Thanks for all the support and encouragement when I fell so far behind, you are all the greatest.

November and December on my blog

Hello dear beaders!

It's been a while since I posted (miserable excuses include writing my new book, time with Mom in Minnesota, holiday house-guests), but yesterday I spent the whole glorious day reading every post to this blog since mid-Dec. and following all the links to your blogs where my spirits were much revived and lifted by your beautiful art!!!! After six hours of catching up, I got busy on my own blog where you can see:

November BJP - here

December BJP - here

Tomorrow I will post January. The next day I'll post pictures of Thom's (my brother) recent BJP pieces. Guess it must be true... when it rains it pours.

We're two-thirds into it now. If we're on schedule, we have eight journal pages completed. It's clear that the behinders are busy catching up, their strong comittment evidently nudging them along. Excellent! It is my hope that of the original 242 members we will have at least 100 who complete all twelve journal pages. Wouldn't that be fabulous!!!!!

A behinder

Hello there.... it's been a long time since I've contributed.  Too much to do, but a little beading happening often.  I have finished my November BJP piece.  I am going to switch modes and work more improvisationally, so will be using fabrics other than my own photos which read too literally for me.  I like the textures that many of you have shown in your work, and think I would like to try my hand at that.  See my November piece at my blog here quiltbeadsandothersuch.blogspot.com. Tada! November Done!

I have started and finished my November page in January! You can see it here if you wish. I'll go put it on flickr too. I feel so good to not only be back to beading but to get another page done.

Picture Finally posted

I may have been quiet but I have been working. I finally have a few weeks at home without any immediate travel plans (well, if you call leaving on 7 Feb not immediate). So, I'm trying to play catchup for not only my work but for posting pictures.

You can see my November page on my blog, http://cindysthreads.blogspot.com/ This piece was based on my first impression of Shaghai, literally. My impressions of what I saw when we were landing.

Happy Beading!

Underway!

I have finally started on November and really plan to speed way up now that the holidays are over. Who knows, maybe I'll finish this page and start both December and January by weeks end! I know what I want to do for them and November is going pretty fast. I'm a tortoise trying to be a hare!

I have posted a picture of my November page on my blog. I have also posted about my lack of progress with my October page. Nothing like a good WHINE on a cold rainy day.

November page completed

I have created another water shrine - this time for deep water. My favorite part about this month was realizing that I was able to connect journaling themes and design elements to the influence of past pages. It's the first time I've had a sustained sense of the call & response that the pages create when they're viewed as a group. It really excited me!!! Have added an image to the Flickr group and also blogged about this page in greater detail.

My November page is done...

It's the "Hunter's Moon", which is the full moon in October. I have to say that this is the most minimally beaded piece I've done yet, but that's what the theme called for. I actually had plenty of time to do more...it just didn't call for it!

November page

Hi everyone, I have finished my November page. You can see it on my blog. The page is a departure from my last one and my other ones for that matter. I finally got some knitting in. I have also posted a lot of other pictures. And while I have not gone on to Flickr yet, I did put together all of my pages and took a picture and posted that too. It was an interesting exercise, I had not done that yet. I saw a lot more similarities between the pages than I expected. I like them all together, but I do still plan to put them in a book of some sort but have not decided just what yet.

Happy Beading everyone, Nancy K.

Whee! November Page Done

No bracelet yet, but I've had other things taking up my time. You can check out my page here, and on Flickr. I'm hoping to get a bracelet done by the end of the month, though. I'm thinking it'll go fast, as I'm planning to use a lot of vintage lucite flowers I was lucky enough to get at half price this year. Hope everyone is doing well. What I've been seeing has looked fabulous!
Cheers all,
Sarah

Swim between the Flags - November BJP

G'Day everyone,
I don't know about you all but as soon as I finish a BJP page I can't wait to get to the computer, scan it and upload it to show my 240 new friends!
I'm back to work tomorrow night as my 'beading' holiday comes to a close. It's been a relaxing and very productive fortnight. I've completed my orders, all my Christmas shopping has been completed and my November BJP. Lucky I'm going back to work I might get bored!!!
My Page this month is dedicated to a marvelous group of trained volunteers, the men and women of Surf Life Saving Australia. The Australian Government has declared that 2007 will be the Year of the Surf Lifesaver. It will also mark one hundred years since the formation of the Surf Bathing Association of NSW, the organisation which went on to become SLSA. If you'd like to know more visit this web site http://www.ysl.slsa.com.au
Oh yes the little blond surfie on there is my son, this was taken when he was about 2years old - now 17! Photo is also on our Flickr site
Bye for now
