You made a lovely arrangement of the leaves! Also I've noticed that sparce/simple designs can give exactly the intended message. Please tell me, what are the leaves made of and how did you attach them?
The leaves in the piece are a silky probably polyester and were part of a trim that comes as yardage, so I still have plenty left. They are only attached by the beading. Sandy
Awesome artwork Mom! I like minimalist anyway but the plain matte backing really sets off those lovely leaves. Where's the teal? I keep looking for a shiny teal beetle or something... :-)
It may be spare, but is lovely all the same. What a great friend to give you those leaves. This just screams Autumn. I like it.

ReplyDeleteIt really doesn't look sparse. The beaded veins really make the leaves pop out from the background. I think it's a very nice page.

ReplyDeleteAre those swarovski pearls you used on those leaves or just regular pearls. 2 or 3 mm. Very nice works give a unique and very nice look.
