I was able to do a little more, then reached a temporary stopping place. You can check it out at
my blog. Will I stop at the vertical line, or keep going? And I'm not sure if I'll keep the blue line along the left side... Among other things. It's a good time to put it away for a while and come back later when I will have a clearer idea of what direction to take.
Putting my work away is one trick I use. Another is to ask my self, "What if I wanted to put one more bead on here, what might it be?" Or, sometimes, I ask, "What if I wanted to put three more things on here, what might they be, and where might they go?"
ReplyDeleteYes, I find if I put things away for a few days it sometimes works... I also try hanging the piece somewhere maybe in the hall? somewhere where I keep coming across it... I then see it in different lights... then suddenly it hits me what too do...
ReplyDeletelovely work on your blog..
Hi Lois,
ReplyDeleteLove your beadwork from the "Hubble"-I love views from space also :o) I've always wanted to paint something about space, so I'm experimenting :o)
I've put aside my project for a while also...it's a good thing sometimes :o)
Nice to share this experience with you!
